"maternity assessment unit"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Maternity care

Sat in the maternity assessment unit today and can't possibly thank the midwife's enough. On their feet all day running backwards and forwards helping hundreds of pregnant ladies in knowing their baby is okay. I personally have been in a few times with worry over reduced movements and they are sure to tell me to come again if I have the smallest of worries. I'm forever grateful for all these lovely ladies putting my mind at rest. Thank-you !

Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. We are happy to learn that you have had such a positive and reassuring experience when you attended the Maternity Assessment Unit (MAU) at the RVI recently.

Pregnancy can be a very worrying time for some women and guidance, advice and support can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and we would encourage any women booked at the RVI with any pregnancy related concerns to contact us anytime.
