"A short spell in A & E"

About: County Hospital / Accident and emergency

The paras were fantastic as much as I can remember but please have softer suspension on the ambulances and a front facing bed.

Into A & E; picked up straightaway then 20mns between each test. The doctor was superbly calming and was following my route all the way. Only one nurse could have convinced me to have the blood test needle in me -so frightened of these - gave her a hug on my way out. The doctor gave me a final chat and then discharged and on my way.

SO GRATEFUL

It is very pleasing to read such lovely feedback around your experience of our A&E services at County Hospital. The team in there really do work hard, not always under the easiest circumstances, and they very much appreciate comments such as yours.

With best wishes

Rebecca Pilling, Quality Improvement Facilitator: Patient Experience.
