"No bed for me despite gp sending me in!"

I had some blood tests done at my doctors as I'm having pain and my skin and eyes are yellow.

The doctor called me this morning and having spoken to a doctor at Bradford has said I need to go in for more tests and they would be in touch.

This was at 10am by 4pm I had no call so phoned the doctor and asked what's happening. He passed me the number to ward 4 so I can call them. Having called them I'm told that they have me on the board but no bed yet and to wait. It's now 8pm still no call and now when I call the number no answer.

I'm still feeling unwell and yellow this is not a complaint about staff or the hospital as we are all aware if what they are up against but this service needs to improve! It's no wonder people are dying unecessarily when it's as stretched as it is.

As it stands I'm waiting now but can't see me getting a bed tonight so will be back to gp in the morning I can only hope and pray that it's noting serous that needs imidiate attention
