I had my third baby at the new birthing unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital January 2018. The unit is amazing and relaxing. The best by far way to have your baby in the tranquil birthing pool. The staff are superb they really treat you holistically and are very calm in their presence around you during labour, very professional too. The birthing suites are beautifully decorated. You would never think once in their that you are giving birth in a hospital. Did not want to leave.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review of our new Birthing Unit at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, especially at what must be an extremely busy time for you. Congratulations on the birth of your third baby and please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your feedback.

We are all extremely excited and proud of our long awaited Birthing Unit at Treliske so it is fabulous to hear that you found the environment so calming and tranquil, as well as being beautifully decorated. I will ensure your feedback is shared with the Matron for Maternity as I know the Staff thoroughly enjoy working there and they will be thrilled to receive your comments and praise.

Thank you again and I hope you and your little one are now settling in to family life back at home.
