"Podiatry team were fantastic!"

My 12 year old daughter had an initial appointment a few weeks ago, it had taken months for our GP to refer her but the podiatrist at Heart of Hounslow booked her in straight away to have her ingrown toenail removed. He was very good at explaining how ingrown toenails can happen and what the best way to deal with them is. He reassured her and answered our questions. She could have had an appointment the following week but due to my daughters sporting commitments we decided to wait a fortnight. Today she had the procedure and the podiatrist made her feel at ease straight away - explaining the procedure honestly to her but in a way that didn’t frighten her. He completely put us both at ease and the nurse who assisted was absolutely lovely. I will be writing an email to the department to thank them. All the staff we came across were excellent. I was very impressed with the service my daughter received and am extremely grateful to the staff for making a nerve wrecking experience much easier for us both.
