Today, Monday 5th February I had an appointment at 10.10 in the fracture clinc. I arrived on time, and was offerted a wheelchair to get the 10 metres to the clinic from reception. I was in pain. I was there for at least 90 minutes, and eventually had to book an appointment for the next clinic, 09.00 on 12th February.Unfortunately there was a security officer strutting around with an air off self importance, sticking his nose in where it was not welcome. He approached me with questions which he had no right to ask, and later he walked under the wheels of my car, inviting me to run him over, which he really deserved. I do not understand why the hospital employs such jumped up little people to ask puerile and unnecessary questions, and provoke such a negative response in the general public, such as myself. He was nosey, self important, stupid, ignorant, and a waste of space. Why you emp[loy such idiots I shall never understand, but that is the choice of the trust, and really no business of mine. Next time If I have the misfortune of seeing him, I shall treat him with the same inane ignorant provocative interrigation that he gave me, but I shall ignore him again in the same way that I did today.; Suffice it to say as a former nurse at Hammersmith Hospitla, I understand the need for security in hospital, but ignorant staff wasting the hospitals wages and living off his own sense of self importance, I shall never understand. I do have an appointment next week, as I mentioned, and if that security officer so much as comes near me, I shall ignore his stupid questions again. Today, I had an appoitment at 10.10 hrs. Next week it is at 09.00 hrs. Please do not let me have to see this fool again.
