I just had an op for thyroid removal and from the moment I walked into the hospital to the moment i left i was treated with utter respect. Intake was simple and fast i spoke to the anaesthetist then the surgeon and the procedure was explained and check after check of my details i was taken in. It lasted longer then planned and this was explained to me after i woke with was great. The care given to me after the op was amazing and once in the ward i was given constant care 24/7. the nursing staff all levels could not do enough to ensure my pain was kept under control. I was ill for 24 afterwards and the extra caregiver was again amazing. The respect I have for these VERY HARD WORKING folks is enormous. If I have permission I would like to thank publicly the WHOLE staff working on Ward 14, I am very grateful for how you cared for me and will never forget your kindness.
