My mother was admitted to B 22 ward late in the evening of the 3rd of February.
She had fallen and sustained a fractured femur.
I am impressed by the caring, compassionate approach of the staff on this ward.
Everyone that we came into contact with was professional, but also very kind.
I felt very confident in entrusting my mum to the care of staff on this ward...they looked after her like she was their mother...and I cannot tell you how reassuring I found this.
Unfortunately, my mum did not survive her injury...and again, the help and support from the staff was above and beyond what was expected.
Their compassion was invaluable at what was for us a very sad time.
Please convey my thanks to them and commend them for their excellent care.
"They went the extra mile"
