"Offer help only to take it away."

After my daughter was seen at Hillcroft I was initially so happy. She came out crying but someone was finally listening to my (20 something) daughter and were referring her to a psychologist, psychiatrist and possible eating disorders clinic. Only to find out a few weeks later that she has been discharged without even being seen by anyone and the only follow up we have now is the eating disorder clinic. The eating disorder is only a small area to her problems it’s something she can control.

I think the way she has been treated is despicable. To offer help only to take it away again. I am yet again trying to convince my daughter that life is worth living.
