"My wife's lump on breast scare resolved"

About: Queen Marys Hospital (Sidcup)

My wife had scare just a week ago finding lump on here breast. Saw GP immediately who referred her on to hospital for tests . Letter came three days later to attend QM Sidcup hospital last Monday with morning appointment. Went to Outpatient reception who were helpful and we were efficiently moved onto to further cancer reception area. Had short wait before seeing doctor to be sent for further scan. Scan done by doctor who confirmed 2 lumps were in fact cysts and drained them there and then. Concerned problem resolved in 2 hours. Had second discussions with doctor to ask any questions or concerns. My wife has other medical problems and this was another to add concerns and am grateful for staff to resolve quickly Excellent all round..Elated that it is nothing more sinister.Only concern was she had had her mammogram screen scan only 3 months previously which showed nothing. Thank you.
