Today my son attended kgh for a mri and was admitted onto skylark ward. My son has been in and out of different hospitals over the last 2 years being very poorly. We have had good and bad experiences and our lives turned upside down.
But today on 31.1.2018 I am so thankful for the lady who was looking after my son and my family. She took the time to speak and listen and get to no and understand my son. Aswell and listening to certain ways and things my son likes to have things done like his obs ect. I was really worried about today and I felt sick to my stomach heading to the hospital this morning but this lovely nurse reasured me and gave me faith in the nhs hospital again. I wont mention the nurses name as I don't have her permission but I did tell her how grateful I was for her to treat us so well she's what a true nurse is and a kind hearted person is..
The ward itself was very clean and tidy and the play room was also very clean and tidy. Iv also had disappointing times at kgh as an overall but never on the children's ward.
