"My amazing recovery journey with the help of..."

To whom it may concern

I want to say how extremely greatful I am for all your support care and guidance getting me to were I am now, I referred myself too ntrp after giving up my buisness as my alcohol and drug use was out of control in july 2016 attended lots if groups at ntrp every day made lots of friends and felt so safe there for the 1st time ever. It was sugested i attended AA and NA meetings at night so I wasn't isolated plus to meet more like minded people and i got a sponser to help me through the 12 step program which I still meet on a regular basis, ntrp told me about Oaktrees none residentual 12 week rehab so I started their in October and graduated January 2017, had an extra year in continuing care at Oaktrees and in the meen time started my peer mentor course through turning point at ntrp, practically went their everyday to volunteer to help me stay well I now run SMART, peer mentor drip in, sit in on introductory into treatment, i graduated from continuing care at Oaktrees Jan 10th 2018 & now shadow in the needle exchange and help out with Oaktrees graduate breakfasts and help out with community lunch, I have had help with food parcels when struggling, advice from the benefits and advice changing lives lady, lots of support off the employment support worker for changing lives, also I am in streetwise opera and will be performing in a big show at the sage, gateshead, also about to finish my 5 month training ti-chi meditation mindfulness capacitar at a retreat centre and now just been offered a two week placement in a recovery centre which one day I will hopefully be working as its my dream job, without ntrp I would not be alive and my family would suffer for the rest of their lives, i have a very large network of friends in recovery and its important to me that I know the doors at ntrp will always be open for me even to just pop in for a cuppa

The staff are all so supportive loveing and careing

I now know how to care and love myself which I didn't know how to do, words can't explain how at piece I am now
