"Urology nurse specialist met us with a smile"

(as a service user),

We attended an appointment yesterday with my dad in Ayr hospital. He was receiving results from recent biopsy and diagnosis of bladder cancer. The nurse specialist Lillian met us with a smile and introduced herself. Lillian was very patient with my dad whilst he tried to process all the information he had to receive. We are all very grateful for the time she took at such a frightening time.
