I was in Ward 10 for colon cancer surgery and would like to express my appreciation for the skill of the surgeon and his staff for the actual operation and the nursing staff for the care I received during my recovery as well as the little personal touches such as the effort the nurses made to make my 85th birthday just that bit better.
All I could eat was jelly and ice cream so they arranged a jelly and ice cream 'cake' for me and arranged my family visit in the day room.
The N.H.S. gets stick but never from me.
I am now pending my third three monthly check and so. far all has gone well.
A Great Big THANKYOU.
