"Facet Joint Injections"

About: Pontefract General Infirmary / Pain Management

Absolutely fantastic results, again!

DEVASTATED to find out that the Pain Management Services will not be able to relieve me of my pain via lumbar facet joint injections,...NOT THEIR DECISION!!

If you read my previous feedback, I am absolutely delighted that facet joint injections have relieved me of going on towards 30 years of pain, gradually worsening over time.

Living with pain for this length of time, is exhausting, to say the least.

I am self-employed, and these injections allow me to work at my own pace.

Benefits are not an option when self-employed, neither is sick pay.

We are reminded to remain mobile and active.

The injections not only help me with my sacral and lumbar joints, but also help with my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia.

So this is a 'double-bubble'!

I have spent thousands of pounds on chiropractic fees, had acupuncture, a long list of medication, physio, exercise, stretching, yoga, pilates, etc.

I keep up with some of this because the injections allow me to do so.

I look forward to my injections, knowing that I will actually be 'pain-free'.

No medication has had this effect- NOWHERE near! .

I have telephoned the NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group with regards to no longer administering the lumbar facet joint injections.

I was transferred to PALS answering machine, where I left my contact details and a brief summary of my concerns.

I hope to hear favourably from them.

Thank you, once again, to the staff at Pontefract Paiin Management Services.

You are so professional and caring.

I look forward to seeing again
