"Ankle Fracture"

I brought my wife in with an ankle injury on the Saturday at this point her leg was strapped up with the instruction to come back the next day for an x-ray. We duly arrived on the Sunday morning and she was x-rayed to find her ankle was fractured. Plaster of Paris was put around her leg then she was given crutches, shown how to use them and given necessary medication and an appointment for the next Friday for the cast to be replaced.

The team were excellent and we cannot praise them enough for the care and attention we received. Well done Whitby Hospital!!!
