"My dad's critical care."

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Cardiology (Heart Conditions) Wards 6c & 6d Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Critical Care

(as a relative),

My dad was admitted to the Southern General earlier this week following a cardiac arrest. When we arrived at A & E we were quickly informed that my dad had another cardiac arrest and staff had provided resuscitation quickly. My dad was then cared for in the critical care unit ITU 1 Unit 3. Sadly my dad passed away the following day but quality of care provided by all the staff was truly amazing and we will always be grateful for this. Dr Cademy, Joanne, Gavin and all the team were all caring, professional and reassuring which helped us all cope the best we could with my dad's situation.

Dear Xanadont

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, please accept my sincere condolences.

I know that this will be a difficult time for you and your family, and I appreciate that you have taken the time to share your gratitude.

I will make sure that we share your post with Dr Cadamy, Joanne, Gavin and the staff within ITU Unit 3.

My thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Kind Regards

Nicole
