In August 2017 my mother was admitted to Tameside Hospital, she had been unwell for a number of months and had been seen on many occasions by her own Doctor.
On admission and following extensive tests she was admitted to Ward 42 in The Ladysmith Building and diagnosed with heart failure. Every effort was made by Hospital Staff to treat her condition, but still she deteriorated and finally passed away in Hospital in early November.
I would like to say that all the staff, Doctors, Nursing Staff and everyone else who I came in to contact with during my mothers stay in Hospital were excellent. She had exceptional service and care from everyone and nothing was too much trouble for them in their efforts to try to provide treatment and make her as comfortable as they could.
I have attended Tameside Hospital with various relatives on a number of occasions for various reasons and on every occasion without exception I have always found the staff at all levels very helpful and have provided an excellent service.
In these difficult times of spending cuts and an increase in patient numbers the staff work hard to try and maintain an efficient service and the best health care possible and all staff are a credit to the Hospital and the patients they provide care for. We are very lucky to have a great Hospital on our doorstep.
Thanks for all your help and professional care.
