Absolutely disgusted today on attending for my son's physiotherapy appointment. The staff member we saw made him feel worthless and spoke to him like he was something she stood in. They spoke in a raised voice (there were other people being treated in the same area) and told him they did not feel he was wanting to get better.
They did not listen to anything we had to say and we felt they made all their assumptions without any examination. They seemed to take offence to the fact that my son said he did not feel the stretches had helped him much yet.
When they were having a go at him, my son started crying and I told him to put his shoes on... we were going home. At that point the staff member started to backtrack. They asked if they could call later to sort things out, but I said that we wanted an appointment with another staff member we saw as this obviously wasn't working out. I told them they should not be speaking to him like that.
"The way my son was spoken to"
