"Really dissatisfied"

About: Newham General Hospital

I've been for three ultrasounds and two general appointments and at all times I've felt like the staff are really lacking in their care. They seem to have no empathy or understanding alot of the time, and the hospital itself feels very unwelcoming and poorly run. I feel like I wasn't really reassured regarding my results and nothing was explained well during the examinations. The admin and organization is terrible though. The worst part is trying to get through to someone on the phone when you have to change or contact someone regarding an existing appointment, the departments don't communicate well with each other and they don't even answer their phones most of the time. I also feel that they don't take cleanliness seriously, there's never any hand sanitisers around the building and the toilets are horribly maintained. I would love to go to a different hospital for my examinations but I always get referred here, which is a disappointment!
