"Getting a skin biopsy"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Ambulatory Care

(as the patient),

I got a skin biopsy in the ambulatory care unit in forth valley hospital in larbert. The nurses Kirsty and Jill were amazing. Although I was very nervous they put me at my ease and explained everything to me . They made it a less frightening experience but being very calming and knowledgeable. They also treated me with respect and engaged me in conversation to take my mind off of what was happening. They were absolute stars and a great example of how lucky we are to have such great hard working NHS staff . Well done ladies and thank you both so much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback.

I have shared your comments with our minor operations team. It is lovely to hear that you were made to feel at ease at what can be a very anxious time.

I hope your wound is healing well.

Thanks again.

Kirsty Muirhead
