Taken into Frimley Park after collapsing at home. Needed to confirm whether or not I had experienced a stroke or heart attack.
Soon confirmed I had not had a stroke. Because of my previous heart surgery I was admitted to Ward G9 where I stayed for 3 nights. Several tests later it was confirmed that I had not had a heart attack. I was allowed home and further tests at the Cardiology Clinic would be arranged. Now awaiting an angiogram which will determine if any further procedures are required.
Whilst I was in hospital I was treated by a truly caring and compassionate team of Paramedics, Doctors, Consultants, Nurses, Care Support Staff, Cleaners and Volunteers etc.
We here so much criticism of The NHS of late but in my situation I could not have asked for more from such a dedicated and committed team of people.
Well done to all involved.
"Great care and patient focus"
