"Care and professionalism"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Medical Oncology University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as a relative),

I would like to send this message to all staff on behalf of my family for the care given to our dad from so many staff in Wishaw General Hospital. My dad has had a few stays over the past couple of years. The latest being late last year and he was receiving regular transfusions since the summer before at least every three weeks.

Special mention must go to the staff in the Oncology dept who help our dad. From the reception staff to nurses consultants and helpers. For the care and professionalism they afforded our dad. Sadly he passed away recently but his admiration and respect for all involved in his care will never be forgotten.

Please pass this on to all concerned from ward 7, Dr. Clark and especially Oncology department.

Dear skykx68

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care your father received whilst an inpatient here at University Hospital Wishaw, within Ward 7. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your father.

Your positive comments are very welcome and I will ensure they are fed back to the staff in the ward, who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard. I have no doubt they will be delighted for the feedback.

Thank you once again and best wishes to you and your family

Kind regards

Faith

Dear skykx68

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about the experience your dad received in the Oncology ward in University Hospital Wishaw. Please accept my condolences and please pass on my sympathy to your family at the sad passing of your dad.

I will ensure that the positive comments are shared with Dr Clark and the Oncology department including the reception staff, nurses, consultants and helpers. The staff in the department work hard to provide a high standard of care so they will be pleased to receive your complimentary feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to post such positive comments.

Warmest regards

Margaret
