"Patient's left to mess themselves"

About: Hertfordshire & Essex Hospital

Disgusting treatment of the elderly who are relying on staff to help them with mobility.

All we saw was elderly patients being left for hours in chairs. Cold tea, yogurts with no spoon, empty drips, some were sat in chairs in a corner in nothing but a flimsy gown. We had to robe my father and another elderly patient. Both had been left for hours on end.

Elderly patients who were able to go to the toilet were told to sit down.

A place you will not want your loved one's at.
