"Visit to A&European at RD&E Hospital"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency

Whilst on a short break at an hotel in Okehampton, I had an accident which left my right leg badly bruised and swollen. It was necessary to visit the A&E Department of Exeter hospital.

I was supported by my partner and, from the moment we arrived, we received the most amazing care and attention. We expected to have a long wait given it was a Friday evening (19 Jan) but, once seen by the receptionist, who was friendly, helpful and respectful, it was not long before I was seen by triage who referred me to the XRay Department. From there, I was seen by a Senior Nurse Practitioner who explained very clearly the problem and the remedy. I could not have wished for better treatment, advice and support from all those who provided medical intervention. My partner and i arrived at the hospital at 9 pm and we left at 10 pm and we would both like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff for their kindness, respect and professionalism.
