You hear the hype.....you read the hype...

After my nearly 94 year old mum who has vascular dementia had a fall after leaving the hairdresser, I feared the worst.
1. The hairdressers Ince Green Lane - You’re care of mum and swift response was above and beyond. Thank you
2. Ince community centre nurse, You’re compassion, care & professionalism was humbling. Thank you
3. Accident & emergency receptionist at Wigan Infirmary - You’re calmness, understanding and empathy for mums condition ensured swiftness of treatment and I will be forever grateful. Thank you
4. The nurse who transferred mum into a side ward, ensured mum was comfortable and made mum a cup of tea....yes if I get to heaven before you I will ensure I open the gates for you and let you in. Thank you
5. The doctor who assessed mum - You showed humility, patience, understanding and the utmost respect for mum. Thank you
6. Lead Physio What a wonderful man who clearly knows a lot about how to listen, offer good advice, act speedily and give hope. Thank you
7. The porter - who was sensitive, respectful with a sense of fun who made mum giggle...you made me smile. Thank you
8. The staff who settled mum on Lowton Ward and showed genuine interest in how best to communicate, listen and understand mums cognitive function. Thank you
As I said at the start ... I speak as I find......
We have some amazing people working in our NHS
Thank you will never be enough
If this could be shared far and wide...maybe the power of the people can ensure this precious service is protected and preserved
"Thank you thank you thank you"
