"Neurological condition requiring urgent treatment"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

I feel that neuroscience have a conscious or unconscious bias  toward psychological causes.  A persons physical neurological disability is deemed 'functional',  semantics for 'psychosomatic'; a catch-all diagnosis too freely given when there is no evidence is worrying and certainly it's not science based.

Thankfully, I have seen another neurologist at a different hospital who apologized for the poor care I had received. They diagnosed me with a serious neurological physical condition that should have been diagnosed promptly and should have been treated urgently at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Sadly, it is too late to reverse the damage. But, now at least I will receive the care I should have received.
