"Gynae outpatients big black hole"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Gynaecology

I am writing this review as I am left completely 'hanging' by my current experience and I don't know where to go to for help/advice. I note that some reviews are responded to quickly and so I hope that someone will tell me who I can contact to move my own 'problem' forward.

I was referred to outpatients in the summer 2017 and on Aug 22 had initial consultation. Saw an S2 doctor. My file notes/ ultrasound results etc were not available to her, although the note she had said they were - fortunately I had copies myself. Outcome of this was referral for an MRI Scan - this took place on Sept 4th as I picked up a cancellation. Sept19th I went back for results - seeing a different S1 Doctor, very pleasant, clinic very quiet as 'no Consultant today'. Told that all was OK basically and to expect report in post......end of story? No. I then get letters inviting me for appointments, it takes 3 months to get my 'report' which was essentially 'draft' and a waste of paper ... I end up attending clinic again this week. Now there is definitely no Consultant, no-one even pretends.

I see yet another Registrar Doc who tells me a completely different - and more scary - 'story'. In shock, tired and stressed I am asked to make a big decision, which I defer at that time . Doctor leaves me .... recovering myself I chase out to find him to ask more questions but he's gone and no-one around. Upset and not coping I simply walk out. Please, I need a proper specialised consultation. My MRI scan was 4 months ago and i have two different outcomes from it, not explained, and no proper report. This is not 'trifle', this is my life. Feels like a chaotic mess.
