"Heart Attack"

About: Castle Hill Hospital / Cardiology

I was taken to Castle

Hill hospital by Ambulance/ paramedics after suffering a heart attack at home. Once through the hospital doors I was wheeled straight into the Cath Lab to have a Stent fitted. I was then taken upstairs to CCMU to continue treatment. The next day transferred to ward 28 for the rest of my stay. I cannot fault anything from the paramedics who first saw to me, to the cleaners on the ward. The professional nursing staff were amazing, as were the consultants and doctors I cannot emphasize how the staff went over and above their duties.

I had allergic reaction to Penicillin whilst on the ward and if it wasn't for the quick response of a nurse, I wouldn't be still here.

They saved my life and I am eternally grateful, They are truly amazing.
