About: Pinderfields General Hospital

My Dad, admitted via A&E after a heart attack, spent a week in Pinderfields.

From the ED, to Coronary Care, including radiography, and ESPECIALLY the invasive radiology team, during Angiogram, Dad, and I were treated kindly, quickly, effeciently, and with humanity and compassion. We had just lost our Mum - the cause of Dads acute event - and there was so much understanding and compassion for our entire family.

I was kept informed through the whole process, with Consultants going out of their way to speak with, and update me.

I have only one Dad, & having nursed myself for 40 years, my expectations are quite high. They were surpassed, consistently. A huge, heartfelt thank you to all concerned. Pinderfields ROCKS!!

Thank you, Pinderfields, for totally restoring our faith in the NHS.

I am sorry to hear that your Dad spent over a week in hospital, which must have been a worrying time for your dad, yourself and family.

I am really pleased to hear that your dad was assessed promptly as effective team work in such time critical procedures is essential. It is encouraging to read how all members of the team have made a difference to your dad's care. I will ensure your comments are shared with them all. Communication is so important to us all and it sounds like staff communicated with you effectively and appropriately.

I hope your dad continues to make a good recovery and would like to reiterate my thanks to you for sharing your experience.
