"My mother's Care at Meadowview"

My Mother was at Meadowview for three weeks and was reasonably happy most of the time. However, they are very busy and I feel she was left on her own in bed for long periods of time, and where it was difficult for her to get out of bed to use the toilet because of mobility problems, pads were used but she was often wet. A few days after returning home she now has a bed sore and I am sure this has something to do with this. She didn't do a lot of supervised walking as she got very anxious which was a shame as now she is home her fitness level is poor and I feel that if she had been given more individual attention and encouragement maybe she would have been more confident walking on her frame at home. The staff were kind but there doesn't seem enough staff for the amount of patients and there definitely should be more physiotherapists so patients can have more one on one care and coaching so like my Mother they are more mobile when they do go home. I know they do their best under the circumstances and I am grateful for there care and kindness.
