"Phone calls from medical staff"

About: Hebden Bridge Group Practice

Having waited about 10 days for a phone call re: results of a blood test. I was given a time of 10.25 when the GP would ring.

It came to my time and no call.

I waited all day and no call.

I visited the surgery later in the day to be told that the dr had phoned twice but it was 1 1/2 hours earlier than it should have been.

I had two miscalls on my phone but I was driving and had to let them go.

I was informed by the receptionist that they cannot be precise as to the time they make the calls, as the are made once surgery is over and they don't know when that will be.

Then, why do they give you a time.

If I had an appointment at the surgery for 10.30 and turned up an hour early it would not be acceptable.

I now have to wait another week for my results.
