Following an assessment of my injury by a physiotherapist, a letter was sent to my GP and I was allowed to select which surgeon I wanted to see. The appointment came through reasonably quickly and all surgical options were explained to me. I elected for the one I wanted and was told exactly how many weeks I would need to wait.
I then couldn't due the first date but it wasn't a problem, they just juggled the list and fitted me when as soon as they were able. From the minute I arrived at 07.30 I was treated with respect and everything was explained along the way. I was home by 15.00 the same day with everything I needed.
The whole team from Consultant to the member of staff who discharged me were fantastic.
