"Poor Pain Management & Respect"

Pain management of Chronic Pain in Fibromyralgia Crisis is a joke:

1st Advised to "Go home and use same meds (that are not working) and rest" as if this wouldn't occur to someone with 20 yrs of Fibromyralgia. Took a debate with an A&E cvonsultan to be admittted. Why because "The Pain Team" who are the specialist who advised on pay "do not see patients on A&E". Yes, seeing them and advising treatment with possible quick discharge might be too quick a system and more cost effective.

Medical Consultant told me that my pain cant be score at 8/10 becauseI'd "br crying" not "playing games on the phone". Er... I'm an older technophobe and never play games at all. I was letting my carer (I'm dissabled) know Im been admitted. And trying to distract me from the pain by talking to s supportive friend by mesages. I survived a trminal prognosis of Pneumonia / Querry TB. Had brest reductoon with no opiates at all. And Chronically Allergic on the same dose of Immuno Suppresant as a Kidney Transplant patient. Because withput I swell up and shead layers of skin until it bleeds and I have to be bandaged head to toe and isolatedso i dont get an infection. So I know pain! I practiced meditation for past 43 yrs! And can project a calm face. I was crying for over 30mins just before he came. But my culture believe in being strong and not engaging in any drama.

Oh when I asked how to spell his name he said "I told you my name twice... You can spell, can't you?" Er... not his name, I cant tead it when hes walking about or standing further away. Furthermore Im slightly dyslexic affecting my spelling!! Oh. I wear contact lenses! This is one example.0

Having finally agreed on a Pain Management Plan, I get discharged with one of the painkillers missing. Why? Because I said I hatted it and made me retch. Note I take anti sicknrss tablets anyway; but agreed to take it anyway as I have to be able to walk to the loo and shower sometimes during a pain crisis. They decided after agreeing with me to take it and after they left for me not to ttake it! Srsly? So back to sorting this one out!
