"Imaging Department- Incompetent Department"

About: University College Hospital

I have seen by a fantastic orthopaedic consultant back in Dec 1st 2017 for my long should pain ( I am suffering of this pain for past three years). He has recommended ultrasound scan and diagnostic local anaesthetic injection. He gave a referral form which he said that I should take it to the basement and give it to the imaging department.

I took my referral form to the imaging department and the lady at the desk took it check my date of birth, the she said and I quote " we will send you an appointment letter".

Today is 17th Jan 2018 and I have received any appointment letter for any of my procedures, I called the secretary of my consultant on Monday 15th Jan and she was shocked that I have not received any appointment letter. She gave me two numbers 02034473695 and ‎020 3447 9070 to call and ask as what has happened. I am calling since Monday and I can say I have called 100 times but no one answers any of the number.

I myself work for NHS (a different Trust) and I am in pain and so frustrated that I don't what to do? as no one is answering any of the number that I was provided with and I am anxiously waiting for my appointment.

This is unacceptable and shameful from a large NHS Trust in England. What a mistake to be in the care of UCLH!!! As I live with pain and no one is answering the phone.
