I called the Lea Surgery for information about travelling to Ghana. The receptionist that I normally speak to was excellent as per usual. She was very accommodating and does what she says she will do to help, and she put me through to the pharmacist at the surgery.
Today I spoke to the pharmacist at the surgery. He was excellent. He provided me with the information about travelling to Ghana, he also explained the different types of malaria tablets, where to get them from, and which chemist will stock the inoculations that they did not have in stock, giving me the telephone number and full address.
He was very professional and extremely helpful, which is really appreciated when you have no idea on where to source the meds. He gave me the option of either picking up the script or him faxing it to the chemist. He also was able to then book me in for an appointment to have the injections administered.
I would definitely recommend the pharmacist at the Lea Surgery for travel advice and information.
