"A massive thank you - midwives"

I would like to say a massive thank you to the midwives working at pinderfields. I think that it is evident that the department is under staffed and that everyone is run off their feet however they still made myself and my partner feel looked after.

I had to be incudeced, after 24 hours I was told I was the next on the list to move to the labour ward, a further 24 hours later and I still hadn’t moved. At 8.30pm when the night shifts had started two midwives were looking for me and my partner to move and from then everything was perfect! We were looked after so well and I was discharged with a little boy at 11.30am the following day.

My midewife was amazing, she made me whole labour process as easy as it could be and put my partner at ease (I think we learnt each other’s life stories).
