Attended minor injuries unit on Friday night with infected bursitis. Was attended to immediately. The nurse and practitioner I saw were lovely. My infection was diagnosed, it was fully explained to me and I was advised of its possible serious outcome if it did not respond to antibiotics prescribed. I left reassured and well informed on what to do in this event. This hospital is essential for a rural area, I felt although a minor injuries unit they would cope with anything. Just wonderful.
