"Diabolical medical care"

If you have anything more complicated than requesting an inhaler or asking for a flu jab - don’t use this GP!

Here is just a snapshot of why:

Never seen one of the GPs listed above - they are always locums who know nothing about the patients

Referrals to hospital only to be told I had not been examined by my GP so then sent home

10 minutes is all you are allowed - and if you want to talk about two medical issues (even quick ones) forget it - you must choose which one is more of a priority (as if you would know that?)

Referrals to wrong departments in hospital

Not informing you when test results are in

Not explaining test results even when you ask

Requirement to do your own research into your medical condition as often faced with the ‘well what would you like me to do about these symptoms’

It’s absolutely disgraceful.

The only positive is that the secretaries and other staff such as nurses and nurse practitioners have been efficient and polite in all my dealings with them. Just a shame about the doctors.
