"poor example set to future parents - socket covers"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Maternity care

Electrical socket covers are in use in the parent education room at City Hospital, despite Department of Health instructions they are not to be used in in EFA/2016/002.

I raised the issue with a midwife but they were still in use a week later.

Further to Ashley’s reply, as result of your highlighting this concern I can confirm that the socket covers in the parent education room have now been removed. I would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I apologise that the issue was not dealt with when you raised it with staff here.

Kind regards,

Anthea Bowker, Parent Education Lead Midwife
