"Apalling"

About: Stroud General Hospital

Despite an uber quick and incredibly basic triage, where virtually nothing was asked,

I was left to wait for about 1.5 hours. It was pretty quiet, and I watched as people came and went, whilst I was ignored. The receptionist said she would ask what was happening and when I went up again she said that the nurse had just brought the paper through stating that I needed to see the GP.

Why did she wait so long? It certainly wasn't through pressure of work!

Other people who came in after me, saw the doctor and left.

After a period of blindness and deafness, I would have thought the least she could do was actually fill in the GP form after she had seen me, not wait for 1.5 hours.

I left with no treatment, being too ill to stay any longer.

I am appalled and disgusted by how I was treated.
