So another Visit, 4 years down the line same problems with the same teeth. Took my wife into the clinic at 2pm left her there, she got out at 5pm really upset. 2 teeth with infection on the roots, will not respond to local anaesthetic also had a PPD allergy which can cross over into local anaesthetic the outcome can be a cardiac arrest or a seizure. My wife developed TN or Trigeminal Neuralgia after the last lot of local anaesthetic so the medication for that is fairly nasty, strugglies with biting and opening mouth wide as brings on facial pain. Sent home with 2 Root infection and a broken tooth, her own Dentist sent her to the hospital to have a general anaesthetic to remove the teeth. So was basically “get yourself gone”
Started looking into private dental treatment, emailed a local private hospital for information the cost for the 2 teeth and a wisdom tooth is £1850 plus the cost of the consultants initial fee of £150 -£200 oh and guess what when the hospital further emailed, she would be seeing the SAME surgeon who declined her treatment on the NHS but it’s ok to take £2000 privately.
"Easier to pay the surgeon privately NHS will be..."
