About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I had a planned operation at Crosshouse Hospital recently under the care or Dr Buck who was just lovely. 

The whole experience went as smoothly as it could have. 

The staff were lovely, kind and compassionate despite the fact that I know the amount of pressure that the hospital was under none of this was evident to me as a patient.

The waiting room was a little cold so we were given warm blankets and the nurses were full of good spirit and laughs.

After my operation, I was cared for fabulously and got home the next day with all I needed to be able to look after myself.
