I was supposed to be induced on a Thursday but due to lack of space was told I would be called in on Friday which too didn’t happen due to the same space constraints. I went into labour naturally early Saturday morning, so called up the hospital and they asked me to come in immediately which I did. I was examined and diagnosed with pre eclampsia and was given medication to get my BP under control. Since my labour wasn’t progressing at a desired rate I was induced. Till this time I was seen by a bunch of doctors and midwives and they all had been very understanding and reassuring. Once I went into complete labour and was dilated enough I was again brought to the midwives and there was this Midwife who was attending to me and words cannot express how grateful I will remain to her for the rest of my life. To add to my woes my delivery wasn’t progressing and I had to undergo an emergency c section, again the team of doctors was outstanding the gentleman kept me informed at every step and was reassuring After the delivery too at the Iffley ward the team was excellent and am grateful to them too for the care they took of me and my baby. Please continue to do the great work you guys do. God Bless.
