People always 'mock' this hospital, but my husband was admitted on Tuesday evening via A and E. He was on the Medical Assessment Unit. I can't praise the staff in both departments enough for their professionalism and kindness at a time of great worry. They've allowed him home this evening with a 'follow up' appointment and a bag full of medication. Thank you all so much.
As we were about to leave the Staff Nurse was due to finish her shift, they were so short staffed she volunteered to stay in work until 9.30 pm.
I don't think that wold happen in many workplaces.
The staff went about their duties cheerfully and chatting to all the patients as they walked about - Staff Nurse's rendition of 'Maggie May' had us all laughing.
"Thank you"
