I had suffered some issues with my local GP identifying hearing problems that I was enduring but fortunately a locum was in attendance on one of my visits; he immediately saw the problem and referred me to Weston General's ENT team. The attention received from then on was excellent and yesterday I was fitted with hearing aids to complete the treatment. I'm still getting used to them but I must congratulate the Hearing Services team on their efficiency, thoroughness and very pleasant (and patient) approach to sorting out this old duffer.
If I could find the locum, I would like to thank him as well.
