My son had an appointment to see a doctor at 10:10 on 12/01/18 after already having an appointment previously cancelled. 20 minutes after appointment time message scrolls up that there's a 40 minute wait to see him. Thus is fine things happen, a nurse comes through and confirms this saying that emergency has cropped up that's why he's delayed. 60 minutes past appointment time she comes through again saying getting another doctor to help out. 90 minutes later I go to the desk and ask if the doctor is even here yet, and they say NO he's got s bad back there trying to get someone else!. So we have been lied to regarding emergency and the time as they have no idea how long it will be.
Just tell people the truth! That the surgeon is ill and we have no idea how long the cover will take, it could be an hour or four, this way we can make an informed decision whether to wait or go! Not be strung along by a constant altering waiting time and lies.
It cost me £5 for parking, 3 hours time from work and late for a meeting, and now will have to wait for another appointment as had to leave to go to work.
Disgusted.
