I was referred here due to a hereditary problem of bunions on both feet, which caused me great pain and made me feel like an old lady at aged 23. Though I did originally have my first appointment suddenly cancelled by the hospital the day before, since then all my interactions with staff have been very nice. I was out to ease by the friendly staff on the day of my surgery. As someone who has bad anxiety and was extremely nervous about my first general anaesthetic, I felt a lot more comfortable once speaking with various members of staff and the day ran very smoothly. I had both feet done at once and I was able to go home the same day once they were confident that I could walk on the special shoes correctly. I was taught how to administer my post op stomach injections I am to do at home and the nurse made me very comfortable with that. As for healing, time will tell but overall the experience of my surgery day was very smooth. Thank you to the consultant and all the other staff who have seen me.
"Great experience with bunion surgery"
