I visited the Early Pregnancy Unit recently after miscarriage symptoms and was treated very kindly and gently. The scan showed the baby was fine at the time but unfortunately a few weeks later we found out the baby had died.
We came back again and I could not praise all of the staff highly enough. They were all kind, considerate and allowed me my dignity. The nurses listened to me and discussed any help they could give me. They were very patient and I never felt rushed.
I opted for surgery which proved hard for them to find me a bed with the hospital being so busy. The nurse tried really hard to get one and she did.
I had surgery very quickly and all the surgical staff were also lovely. Everyone from the consultant to the anaesthatists and the nurses took good care of me and helped me feel at ease because I was very nervous and grieving.
I would definitely recommend these departments to others.
"The best experience in a sad situation"
