My 4 year old daughter suffered a bad scald to her hand, whilst we were visiting Bridlington for a New Year's Day walk. After first aid at the location where she received the burn, we went to Bridlington Hospital Minor Injuries Unit for further assessment and treatment.
The service we received was very very good. Despite the waiting room being fairly busy, we were seen almost immediately by a triage nurse, who put our fears at ease and treated the burn. She gave us very good treatment and good advice, and I'm pleased to say that just over a week on, my daughter's hand is healing very well.
Thank you Bridlington Hospital, I think your prompt and professional treatment has saved my daughter from some nasty scarring.
